SHEFFIELD" stamped on the mark side tang.

The saw blade and the pen blade (also heavily worn) stamped "RODGERS CUTLERS TO HIS MAJESTY" on the mark side tang. The knife has a closed length of 4 ¾ inches (12cm), stag scales, and steel liners and bolsters. The pins and name plate are nickel silver.

This knife is illustrated in the Joseph Rodgers 1912 trade catalogue as pattern P.1985. The same knife is illustrated in "Levine's Guide 4th edition..." page 266.
