U.S.A.” stamped on the

blade mark side tang,

and “OIL THE JOINTS”

stamped on the tin

opener. The knife has a closed length of 4 7/8 inches which is consistent with the “A.C.D.

685” specification, as required.

KEEN KUTTER 1917 catalogue (page 2334, and are the only known knives that conform with

9403/1917 description.
